Dear Diary: My Funny Situation That Is Not Worth Laughing About

Here I am now laying down in my bed because standing up and even by just sitting down much less walking makes me breathless so it is funny that by putting my body in a horizontal position makes me have a relief on my breathing unlike other patients who do not even want to put their head down. I even wanted no pillow because I just am not comfortable with my breathing with a pillow on my head.

So what is more funny is that my medicine makes me feel more sick than well. Yes that Cinacalcet relieved me from my unbearable body pains as I can now sit for long and lift or do some things without straining myself but the funny thing is that it makes me lose my appetite by making my mouth get that bitter aftertaste.

Having a bitter aftertaste in my mouth lingering for the rest of my whole short life is a funny thing that I am lamenting about because I maybe curing my bones but in the other hand it makes my basic life miserable by disrupting my basic function that I am trying to enhance which is my ability to eat and enjoy even simple foods.

So I am committed now to reach my goal of parathyroidectomy so that I can free myself from having to take my noxious medicine that inhibits me to have a good sense of well-being as it is not good to live this way. I will be having a Intact PTH test a few days from now so if it shows a good result I will reduce my medicine intake so that it may help me feel well without being sickened by the appetite-disrupting side-effects of my medicine. God help me and Thank God from steemians that helps me with all my struggles, it makes me strong.
