Dear Diary: I Paid My Internet Today And It Sure Is Expensive But I have No Other Choice
My Internet connection is quite fast for my needs and I am with a wireless connection via LTE system so I can stream and download without interruption. It has a downside of being expensive but I do get a 13.3 GB per day or 400 GB per month data allocation and I am paying around a little more than a dollar a day so that I could use the Internet.
This is just temporary and I may switch into a less expensive one with a lesser data allocation. But having a more data allocation right now could make me entertain extra connections from my nephews and nieces which also use the Internet while they are in my home plus sometimes guests just asks for Internet too so having a more data allocation would mean I would not run out of it and lose my connection.
But a third Internet provider will soon emerge in my country and I am excited about that as I know they will offer a more cheaper Internet service thanks to the political will of the president of the Philippines. That means that I can drop my current subscription and look upon on what they would have to offer to the public this coming months.
So right now I will have to contend in paying my current Internet subscription. I am happy nonetheless because I have a relatively fast Internet and I can accommodate extra connections from y guests and my nieces and nephews and enjoy the Internet altogether.

It’s always good for consumers if there is a competition between providers. I’m certain once the third company emerges, your current plan will drop in price anyway. But you will be able to decide what you realy need. You can always negotiate the price, at least that’s what we do here in the US. You would be surprised how low they are willing to go to keep their customers.
Definitely! The reason why we have expensive internet plan because of no competition of service provider and in connection to this due to politics the monopoly they hold the power for long years the reason telecom service providers from other countries are banned cannot put up in Philippines.
Thanks for new administration because they are open for new service providers and I read news about China Telecom to open soon.

Its good that you will get fast and cheap internet data, because its the world of intenet now and every thing is on internet so we can say that intenet is now an important part of our life

Having a stable internet connection is a necessary evil in today's day and age but I can relate on not liking how much you are paying for yours. Mine went up recently and I am not happy. I use the internet all day every day it seems so I am grateful to have unlimited usage. Hopefully, the increased competition from other internet service providers will aid in giving you the opportunity to reduce cost and increase the access to more data.- Ivy

400GB a month is huge data. Yes sure it's expensive. I am paying 1,300 pesos a month for my globe LTE and it's only 60GB a month data allocation.
I hate this service because there's always interruption everyday there's a 10-20 minutes cutting of Internet connection and don't know why it's like this. Every morning at 8:00 oclock no connection in the afternoon at 1:00 oclock does the same.
Don't know why they have this kind of service, I also don't have a choice because no other service provider available in our area only Globe.
I always thinking of when will China Telecom operates in our country to have cheap and super fast internet connection.
