Since the appearance of the Bitcoin in 2008, hundreds of other cryptomonas have been created without ever reaching the popularity of their ancestor. But for a few months, the eyes are turning hopeful to a small new sector: Zcash.
The first units - called ZECs - were "hit" at the end of October 2016 and since then, this new currency is in the top 10 trade volumes, according to coinmarketcap.com. With a unit price of about 36 euros, the Zcash represents, with 28 million euros, the eleventh largest capitalization among the 734 cryptocurrency that reference this site. This is rather encouraging, although the Bitcoin is already approaching the 20 billion euros.
The appeal for Zcash can be summed up in one word: zk-SNARK. Behind this barbaric acronym is a particularly innovative cryptographic technology that makes transactions between users totally anonymous, if they so wish. How it works ? Like the Bitcoin, Zcash relies on a blockchain that is distributed across all users and that everyone can view. Except that in the Zcash network there are two types of addresses: the t-addresses and the protected z-addresses.
Despite the price of this crypto-currency, it can be a good investment in mining, after it will have to calculate your hardware if there is a real yield.

Nice post. Interesting to see I'm not the only one that is thinking about this.
