The goal of CryptoBarons is to enable players become Barons by growing the economy of their kingdoms thereby making good profits, protecting its citizens, invading other kingdoms or forming alliances with other barons. The challenge is extremely difficult and will require the wit, persistence, perseverance and dogged hard work from all players. The next minute you are rich, the next minute your kingdom is under invasion and you stand to lose resources worth real baron tokens which will mean losing real money. Minors or people below 18 years old are not allowed to use this Website.

KINGDOMS
Every player is entitled to a kingdom. Kingdoms are divided into 2 main categories:

Default Kingdom: Default kingdoms are assigned to players for free. The default kingdoms come with the following:

  • One Worker
  • One worker-home
  • 100 rations of food
  • 100 logs of food
  • Default Town Hall
    Verified Baron Kingdom: Verified baron kingdoms are the homes of existing barons. Players who buy these kingdoms will assume the position of the baron that rules the kingdom. These players are rewarded with 500 crowns (500 crowns makes a player a baron). The verified baron kingdoms come with the following:
  • 10 workers
  • 10 soldiers
  • 2 large-worker homes
  • A farm and 4 chickens
  • A large market
  • A large goldmine,
  • A large military camp(capacity 100 soldiers),
  • Barracks for training soldiers
  • 10,000 rations of food
  • A large barn
  • A lumber camp
  • 10,000 logs of wood
  • A watch tower
  • A catapult
  • An exquisite town hall
     — The town hall is the central point of the kingdom. It should be guarded fiercely by the soldiers.

BUILDINGS
In each of these kingdoms, there are a lot of buildings. Buildings are subdivided into 3 categories: Economy, Defense and Army Buildings.

Economy:
Economy buildings are buildings that generate resources for the kingdom, they include:

  • Gold Mine: Large goldmine produces 0.2 gold coins per day while small goldmine produces 0.1 gold coins per day. As more players mine gold, the difficulty of gold mining increases by a time factor. This is introduce scarcity to the gold being mined. (Every 10 gold mines purchased generally increases mining time by between 6 hours).
  • Farm: Increases the chicken eggs by one per 1 hour. (1 egg = 5 food rations).
  • Barn: Large Barns have a capacity to store 50,000 rations of food, small barns have a capacity to store 20,000 rations of food.
  • Lumber Camp: Lumber camp stores 50,000 logs of wood.
  • Market: Large market holds 100 gold coins, small market holds 50 gold coins.
  • Town Hall: Default town hall holds 500 logs of wood, 500 rations of food, 5 gold coins. Exquisite/Large town hall holds 5,000 logs of wood, 5,000 rations of food, 10 gold coins.
    Defence: Defense buildings protect the kingdom from invaders or bandits. These buildings include:
  • Watch Tower: Large watch towers shoot arrows with damage of 5 pts, at 2 shots per second. Small watch towers shoot arrows with damage of 2 pts at one shot per second. Large watch towers have a shorter attack range, they are better for close battles. Small watch towers have a larger attack range.
  • Catapult: Large catapults hurl large stones to invaders or bandits with damage point of 70 pts for direct hit and smaller damage for indirect hits. Small catapults hurl smaller stones with damage point of 50 pts for a direct hit and smaller damage for indirect hits.
  • Garrison: Produces troops that will defend the kingdom during invasion. The player should send troops to the garrison before leaving the game in order to protect the kingdom when he is away.
  • Traps: Traps help destroy invaders and bandits. Traps have a damage of 70 pts.
  • Wall: The wall slows down troops from invading your kingdom.

**Army Buildings: **These are buildings for the army that help protect the kingdom. They are made up of the following:

  • Barracks: For training your soldiers. Increases soldiers damage points by 0.01 per daily training.
  • Camp: Large camp holds 100 soldiers. Small camp holds 50 soldiers.

MARKETPLACE
The game market place is divided into the primary market and secondary market:

Primary Market:
The primary market is the first market the players will be purchasing items from. These items are created by the CryptoBarons team. In other to ensure that the CryptoBarons economy is stable and that players make money trading their assets/resources after working hard, we are introducing a form of scarcity in the primary market. As categories of the assets are purchased, for every 10 items purchased per category, the price of other items in the same category will automatically increase by 1 Baron Token(BRN). This will get to a point where buying in the primary market will be expensive and players will have to work hard in their kingdoms to generate resources to sell to other gamers in the Secondary Market.

Secondary Market:
The secondary market is the market where gamers come to sell their assets at any price of their choice. Gamers can decide to become mainly farmers; military trainers, invaders etc. and the resources they have gathered or produced can be sold to others in the secondary market for baron tokens BRN or ethers.

BATTLE

Players will be able to attack other players by invading other players’ kingdom. The chance of winning will depend on the strength of the attacker’s army . When a battle is won the attacker will gain more crowns which will lead the way to become a baron. The more crowns a player gets will determine his rank on the leaderboard. The winner will be rewarded with 10 crowns for example and the loser will lose some crowns. Resources can be gained from attacking economy buildings like barn and market. 20% of the content of these buildings will be given to the invader. For the future version of the battle, live fight will be introduced, where two players can battle in war front. Players will be able to go into battle with other players at real time and same rule will follow, whoever wins will take the crown, but no form of resources will be gotten from the battle.

RESOURCES
Food: Food is consumed by the following operations:
 — Building of houses by workers depending on the strength of the worker.
 — Training of soldiers.
 — Cutting down of trees that will produce logs of wood.
 — Hunting of wild animals from the forest.
 — Invading other kingdoms and attacking storage houses like barn and townhall.
 — Purchasing food from the game market or secondary market (other gamers sell to each other).

Trees: Trees are natural resources that grow freely and can be harvested to produce 50 logs of wood per tree.

Gold
Sources of Gold:
 — Gold mine
 — Invading a kingdom

Consumption of gold:
1 Gold coin can be converted to 1 Baron token and this can be used to purchase items in the game market or secondary market(other gamers sell to each other). Scarcity of Gold coins will be maintained in the game and the exchange rate can increase as more Gold coins are mined.
A percentage of your gold can be stolen if your kingdom is invaded successfully.
Wood
Sources of wood:
 — Trees
 — Invasion of other kingdoms
 — Buying from the game market or secondary market

Consumption of Wood:
Building of houses: Consumes minimum of 100 logs of wood
Invasion of your kingdom can lead to loss of your logs of wood.
Animals
Animals produce rations of food for the kingdom. Wild animals can be hunted by workers or soldiers to produce food. Each animal produces a minimum of 50 rations of food. Animals can be purchased from the game market or secondary market.

TRANSACTION FEES

3% transaction fee is charged on every asset. 2% of the fee goes to the cryptobarons team while 1% is shared amongst barons.
NOTE: A baron is a player with over 500 crowns. Buying a verified kingdom automatically makes you a baron. Other players can gain crowns by invading kingdoms and solving tasks in the game. The 1% transaction fee is not shared equally amongst barons. The higher the crowns of a baron, the more shares of the transaction fee he gets. Players are urged to invade and solve as many tasks as possible.

BUYING ASSETS
There are currently 3 methods of payment used in purchasing CryptoBarons game assets:

Card Payment: The card payment is done by using your preferred card service to pay for assets.(Example: Master Card, Visa)

Baron Tokens/Coins: Baron tokens are ERC 20 tokens used for CryptoBarons gaming. They can be purchased by funding your account from your profile page or from exchanges. To pay with baron tokens, you must have enough gas (ethers) for the transaction fees. Paying with baron tokens gives you great discounts up to 50% when purchasing assets.

Ethers: Ethers (i.e. Cryptocurrency of the Ethereum platform) can also be used to purchase game assets. Ethers can be gotten from exchanges.
