What I learned about Steem this week
I'm on Day 9 as a Steamian — taking a moment to reflect back on the interesting tidbits I've learned so far...
Explorers
The Steem blockchain is the data source and anyone can create an interface that sits on top of Steem and allows us to interact on the blockchain. Some explorers tap into the full functionality and others don't.
Example — it seems we may be able to "set" a seperate thumbnail images for posts using Set_Featured _Image. Steemit doesn't utilise this, but other explorers hypothetically could.
