Moving out the first time can be quite the thrill.

When you've been behind the shroud of your imposing parents your whole life this can seem like iced lemonade on a beaming hot summer day.

Maybe you get to decide where to play your leopard skin rug, or maybe you can finally put that hideous poster in the LIVING ROOM where it belongs. Either way you put it, you know that there are just wayyy TOO MANY awesome realities that you are facing, now that you're free like Pidgey! Here are some of the TOP benefits of moving out alone!

1. You can stay up as late as you'd like-

So now you can catch up on all those old Pokemon episodes of Ash and Misty at full volume!

2. You can decide what you want to keep in the refrigerator-

AND you don't have to worry about anyone eating your food without asking ;) Yay for buying waffles and orange juice that'll last!

3.You realize just how much your parents have done for you that you took for granted-

Now you understand why your mother would spend hours cleaning your bathroom, and shooing you away from the bleach fumes. The realization of how much you'll miss her doing that makes you to weep uncontrollably.

4.You can have friends, and lovers, over whenEVER you want-

...assuming that anyone actually ever wants to come over. Most likely they're too busy, but they let you know that next week they'd love to come by. And then next week comes. And sadness. Time to watch Chocolat again. Alone, and yet accompanied by your only consistently present friends- tears.

5. You decide that you can be loud and crass at all times

...just a general ruffian... Until the neighbors from downstairs become your new noise-patrol police, and you fear making eye contact with them the next few days.
