1. "Do some noise" with your posts

You want to be attractive to people.
There is too many people posting here competing for your attention, so you should capture them with eye catching titles and impressive header photos.
The body of the article should have enough quality to avoid the reader think you used that title only as a trap.

2. Be entertainment or useful in your post

This tip is an extension of the previous one.
To catch the readers attention, you should give some of entertainment or some useful information.
People wants to have fun or to have some useful information, look for this two type of content, and the best if you can combine both, that is a success for sure.

3. Cultivate the engagement with the community

This is the best thing you can do to have a fast and real grow in your Steemit account.
a) Reply always to your comments. Try to have real conversations in your comments, and cultivate relationships.
b) Make comments to other post. Making good and long comments to other people posts with the same interests like you, (the more reputation they have, the best) not only will be funny, it is a invaluable opportunity to expose yourself to a good audience that can sintonice with you and can be arriving to your posts and becoming subscribers.
c) Curate good posts. If you have made a comment to a good post that you like it, why not giving an upvote? This will increase your engagement with that user and will bring you some curating rewards.
To maximize the curating rewards make the upvote after the 20 minutes of the post publication.
After 0 minutes of the publication, the author gets 100% curating rewards, 15 minutes after, rewards are 50/50 % to author and curators, and after 30 minutes will be 100% for curators.
20 minutes is a good balance between number of comment (if you are the first user to make a comment, your reward will be the maximum) and time curation rewards.
d) Enter contests. They are great to get engagement with other seteemians and make some money.
My favourite one for minnows is the Weekly resteem contest that makes @minnowsupport every week, with up to 70 Steem Prize Pool!
This was the first contest I won in Steemit and for a minnow it is a huge help to win 15 sbd..

4. Keep posting every single day

To be constant is a key to success in Steemit. At the beginning you do not have to write a post to do your work, it is better you take some time until you get more than 100 followers, doing comments to other steemians posts.
This will give you an idea of the posts that people make in steemit, how to do it, and will bring you some sbd rewards.
