RE: Steemit: The Current Identity and the Lack of New Investment

in #steemit9 years ago

Who cares who is selling steem ???

Truly why does it matter ???

No one can sell anything on the currency exchanges, unless that person finds a buyer. This steem is not disappearing someone somewhere is actually buying it.

Now I will admit the internal exchanges for steem could be manipulated but if was not a open and honestly transparent why would they put steem into the open marketplaces.

So traders would not be buying steem simply because the price continually is falling, investors would not want steem simply because it is such a new prototype website model with to many unknown variables to reliable evaluate as a reliable investment.

Put another way; why risk an unknown investment when there are far more predictable investment opportunities for those who have capital to invest.

The reality is that dozens of private invented cryptocurrency internet coins trade repeatedly wit nothing to back them. Simply these coins are computer generated imaginary money designed on an open coded computer by two people in some garage somewhere.

These web monies have nothing of substance to surround them except what the developers can generate, yet people buy these nothings for real money.

Steem has Steemit, sooner or later the price floor has to be reached once some stability comes along people will relax and start to build upon that floor slowly over time. Reality is that cryptocurrencies swing wildly and unpredictably in price valuations, having an internet currency linked to a solid proven platform will probably attract lots of future investors simply due to stability and predictability ! ! !

Many other websites offer worthless token rewards for using their platforms, Steemit gives you free tokens and then allows a mechanism so you can earn them in your free time and then sell them for real solid cash money later.

90 % of Steemit users probably never had the chance to have a Wall Street Stock market shares portfolio ever before in their lives. On steemit you get one for free.

But unlike Wall Street where if you buy 75 company shares that is all you won after you use real money to purchase those fixed number shares. On Steemit you get FREE rewards and shares and then have the ability to build upon that free investment.

All this is amazing and yet everyone seems fixated with the price of steem falling, all the fools and idiots need to stop and think a bit more than watching the herd mentality of a falling bar graph of steem stock prices.

You got this stuff for free so stop epxecting it to pay off your mortage loan overnight ! ! ! stop being ungrateful saps and appreciate the opportunity to be in on the ground floor of something new and different and unique.

Seriously you want something with some history go grab your debit card and $750 will buy you ONE Amazon stock; congrats on your investment ! ! !

Otherwise remember if Steem is selling then someone is actually buying it and they are not buying it to just throw real money away. Somewhere someone has a real use for Steem and they continue to buy. Over time this will begin to even out . . .

So stop focusing on the negatives and start working to build a better networking opportunity for all the other free shareholders like yourself, after all none of this matters . . .

why ?

Simply if the price of Steem is falling it does not matter because you are getting platform rewards for using Steemit and building up with compounding interest on top of your initial website investment. Steem can fall in price but your website activities add to your account value thus you insulate yourself from losses over time ! ! !

Remember Steemit is brand new and we are surrounded by negativity in real life, everyone's real life economy sucks but for some strange reason everyone expects another huge 4th of July Steemit payout like back in July and August . . .

In summary the price of Steem is fine and the faster it falls to some stable floor the better, the price of steem has nothing to do with you, so stop complaining about free gifts and get moving on working to improve Steemit for yourself and all the other free shareholders herein ! ! !

Sort:

This was not a post about selling Steem or the price of it. It was about user and investor interest.

I understand, I just feel once the floor price stabilizes then we will get our users and investors ! ! !

Once the uncertainty and negativity cease then growth will commence and with growth will come your user retention and investors. . .
