    I am a new user too.
    As far as I know it's best to provide your own quality content ofc.
    I try to figure out the mechanics buy watching stuff.
    I am not sure how "resteeming" works and what it does tho.

    I'm new as well and what I've learned so far is that you should use @originalworks tag on your original posts to get a system generated +1 upvote. At least, that what iIve been told.
