So here is the thing, steemit has the potential to make your head explode while you are cramming so much information inside to try and process.

To me now Crypto currency seems like a walk in the park compared to the overall learning process.

Everybody wants to help, but everyone does steemit differently.

A few weeks ago I posted what I had learned on steemit so far. Now this really seemed like a walk in the park, compared to the past two weeks going full time.
I appreciate advice and help, in fact I love it, but be warned that advice can also come with options to choose from. Don't for one minute think that this platform there is a clear road ahead of you....oh no dear friends its a twisty windy road and at every turn you discover something.

Do you feel like you are shouting through the noise!!

There is a lot of noise going on in steemit and its like you are on a stage in front of a crowd who are talking amongst themselves waiting to see you but you can't get a word in edgeways. No matter how loud you shout, the noise gets louder. Does it ever seem like that to you??

Then there is what the people tell you the do's and don'ts like quality over quanity and don't upvote your own post and make your post indepth, descriptive make it stand out and others say don't make your post so long, make sure you network with as many people as possible.

At the beginning you are looking for the questions, but in the end you are more like poor Homer here.

You have these questions because you post up content and then wonder why no one is reading it.

Because you're shouting through the noise and no one can hear you yet!!! So here are some things I want to say about it.

Don't shout at the whole crowd.

Really there is just no point. You will stand more of a chance losing your voice shouting, than gaining a massive audience at the end of it.
Concentrate on those that are engaging with you, its easier to talk to a few people than to talk to hundreds. In fact it's impossible to talk to hundreds of people, unless you are broadcasting and then its to the masses, but that is only when you have a mass of people who want to listen to what you say and even then you can't talk to them all individually.
Engage with the people who are interested in what you have to say, but in return you have to show an interest in them. You can't make it all about you.... its a two way street here, not a one way.

Stop relying on people with High SP.

Notice there I said high SP and not Whales, define high SP doesn't mean to say its a crazy high amount it could be a couple of bucks but hey its more than what you have right??
Besides the higher powers, some are having their games. Let them get on with it, just concentrate on what you have to do. Which is finding out what you have to do, and how to become successful.
Whales get far too much focus, there are plenty of other people in the steemit community who are willing to help others, you just have to find them.

Don't treat every bit of advice as gospel all the time.

Just because something works for someone, does not mean it's going to work for you. Here is an example, I did a pretty long post recently because I read that posts had to be meaningful and informative and giving lots of details and pictures.
Someone told me, that half the time people reading them will get bored if the post goes on for too long.
So sometimes .... you post a long post.... sometimes you don't.

The thing is there is no clear direction.

And we need to start getting to grips with this, just because someone posts helpful info about steemit does not mean you have to also.
I mean how boring would the world be if we all talked about one thing right??
So try different things, be experimental and don't get an idea and think this is going to get me some major views, boy I tried that. Even today when I posted up about lighting the log burning stove.
No one was interested but hey I posted it, I learned from it I move on.

Its frustrating

I know... I know exactly how you feel that you are looking at your screen thinking what the hell is going on?? What do I do?? Someone show me what to do??
Truth is no one really can show you what to do, because they just did things for them that worked and if it didn't they changed it.

I am where you are now reader if you relate to this, then we are in this together till the bitter end.
If you need to post Meme's or pics or what ever then do it!! Just follow the simple rules, credit your sources, don't post offensive material, be kind, and talk to your followers. After all they want to know you the most.

Pick yourself back up.

There comes times, when you work on this all day and you post and comment and upvote and feel that no one is responding to you and then you think that you have failed at this.
Thats just not true, don't think of the post you did think of the one you have not yet done. Don't give yourself time to stop and keep refreshing your wallet, plan what you need to do for your future post, what ever it may be.

This platform is amazing you are amazing, now go and shine like the star that you are.
