As I type this, steem is .81 cents on coinmarketcap. I really hope this platform stays afloat. I bought a litecoin this morning from Coinbase. I am going to swap litecoin for some steem while steem in the dip. I don't like that my bank is so slow on the transactions.
So I have to wait a week before I can buy steem. I know me buying and holding a little steem isn't going to help that much. But I hope I can rally the readers to support steem much as they can. Thank you all.

I studied a chart on the lifetime of steemit and you are right. I'm not worried about it anymore. I have gained and learned some useful things on here. I learned about bittube as an example. I am still going to stay anyway. I need a creative outlet.

Yup, Pre-2017 it was in the pennies. Though Steemit was the wild wild west back then, just going through a hack that lost Steem holders over $85k in coins. So im glad I joined in May of 2017 afterwards and did not need to deal with that drama.
I think you mean d.tube, yeah its pretty cool. And if you study its underlying file system IPFS its even cooler. If you keep mining, keep a journal and do weekly updates. And if you are lacking an outlet then curate others content and comment unless you come up with something.

Oh interesting, I have not heard of bittube. But sounds interesting you can be paid to watch videos. D.tube does not have that.. Ill need to look into the TUBE tokens. thanks!

Sweet, I was having dtube issues a few days ago. Took that as a sign I should have other platforms I upload to. So I created a bit.tube account and a viuly.io account to mirror my videos.
Congratulations on getting Bittube. Your bittube wallet takes a week to get tube deposits. Keep that in mind. I don't know what viuly.io is.
Just buy the dip and HODL...
STEEM is a solid blockchain, we just need to be nice to one and other here on steemit, the community the generous vibe here is the real value, kind of like a "gold-reserve"...
The more we help new people coming here and people who might not get any attention/reward for their "hard work", the more we share and help one and other the more "real value" is created...

Yeah we just have to try and keep our cool during the volatility... Write solid content or maybe just post smaller posts and try to spread some love with comments or upvotes in other peoples blogs...
Then when the price of STEEM is high we can go back to being arrogant and self-centered...😃
