[BUG REPORT] Small Bug With Case Sensitivity on Steemit.com's Categories
I found a very small bug and I hesitate to even call it a bug since it's more of a usability oversight than an actual bug.
If someone uses a hashtag in a post with capitalization of the words like #MinnowsUnite it will result in a link being created in the post that goes to:
https://steemit.com/trending/minnowsunite
but the category link for the post's tags below will link to:
https://steemit.com/trending/MinnowsUnite
which would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that category listing pages with capitalization in the URL will result in no posts being returned at all even if there are posts that used capitalization. I will hazard a guess that the tags are all normalized to lower case to avoid case sensitivity issues and that these particular pages just need to convert the argument to lowercase before querying.
Hopefully this small and easy bug will get fixed soon.
