I'm now 131 days old on steemit which is about four months. The journey hasn't been easy but it is fact that steemit still remains promising and so there is no need giving up. Would you agree with me that starting as a newbie on steemit is sometimes boring, discouraging and uninteresting. The more reason something should motivate you to keep going on steemit

This very true. Any great journey requires more energy to keep you going. Today I share with you one of my numerous experiences on steemit. I believe this would help many steemians especially newbies to stay for the community .

The listed questions are some of the worries all newbies experience on steemit for sometime...

1. How do I rise quickly and become a whale

2. What did the authors in the trending page did that I didn't do

3. Why has my post received no votes or less votes

4. How do I get noticed, get good audience and attract whales to vote my post.

To the best of my knowledge and from personal experience these are questions that comes in mind when you begin the journey on steemit as a newbie.

I haven't become a whale yet and haven't gotten close but I'm always positive about steemit that there will surely be a good outcome sooner...I have something that keeps me going which I believe will help many newbies here. No matter how you have felt on steemit something should keep you so you can thrive.

Many will conclude that steemit has a whole lot of stringent rules, but I believe that in part ensures the credibility of the platform and its sustainability and so there is no need to worry if you find anything to be challenging on steemit. The best thing to do is always ask for help or clarification than just moving about trying to figure out everything by yourself, It always make the journey easier.

WHAT HAS KEPT ME GOING

The desire to learn more

I have said it before and I will reiterate that the force behind success is passion. If you want to be successful just have a passion for what you do. I know you are in here for the money but is that the only thing that drives you? . That undying and unquenching desire to keep doing what you love is what gradually get you noticed.

I started when I hardly get a dollar on my post but I thought of it this way, "posting this on Facebook wouldn't have even given me a cent and so if I have few cents here on steemit why should I be dismayed" I think there is a sense in this and it's clear. I'm always learning here and still want to learn. You will only feel like leaving steemit if your aim is to earn the money and nothing else, this is because steemit is sometimes disappointing and you cannot always predict how it will respond to you and work in your favour.

The desire to socialise

Socialization helps to bind people together. It is very difficult leaving other media platforms like Facebook because you always see friends around, view their pictures, read their post, share your thoughts and emotions about them and interact more.
That same principle is applied here and even more but you need to get involve else you will be left out. Being part of a group gives you strength, the push , the assistance, so that you can thrive easily on steemit. being part of groups has really been helpful to me personally.

The mindset of investment

Since I started on steemit in June I have being earning some dollars s on my post, though not deserving always but I have not taken out a cent from my wallet. My focus has been to invest and continue to invest to build up a strong power, I bought more steem with my SD and then used it to power up. Thinking of steemit as an investment platform makes the journey easier for you than just seeing it as daily money making center. This is the reason why many newbies become fed up and leave or stay out from active work. Their vision for joining steemit didn't materialised.

Like all the investment we do in cryptocurrency, it takes time then it matures, the more focused you become on investing the the more committed you become to making most of steemit.

Today I shared with you these three tips that has been helpful to me and I hope many newbies and all other steemians find it helpful too. I would like to hear from and to know what has kept you going on steemit.

Join me in my next episode on my journey on steemit.

Passion is the key. If you don't believe in what you're doing you can't succeed.

Very true, thank you
