Is it Possible to Use Steemit to Help Fundraise for a Charity?

         A few weeks ago I was thinking about how Steemit could be used for the greater benefit of numerous people per post. I thought of this idea but with the start of the new school year I didn't have methods, or time to develop it. 

        My idea is to make an option to have a certain amount of the profits from each post automatically transfer to a verified charity account set up by the charity. Now why would someone want some of their hard earned steem to automatically be transferred. The answer is because the higher the percentage transferred, the higher amount of interest the user earns on the money left behind, and the user's reputation increases due to commitment to charity. Now, another pressing question. How do I know which charities are trustable and which are frauds. The answer to that, like a lot of ideas on steemit, is upvotes and downvotes. If the community sees that a charity is abusing its funds it can begin to downvote its reputation so less users donate to it. 

    I realize this idea is just that, an idea. It may have flaws, and may not even be possible. But imagine the amount of publicity steemit would get if it were possible. Donating very crucial funds to reputable charities. I'd love to hear feedback, and see someone develop this. Thanks for reading this!!
