How Do I Create A New Category for Steemit?
Hello Steemit users, as you may or may not know I am a composer going into 9th grade. I was wondering if it is possible to create a new category called composition so that people like me have somewhere they can post their original works for feed back. If there is a way I am sure many composers will be happy.

Looks like all you have to do is type it to create the category. See https://steemit.com/active/composition. The categories on the right must be displayed when it reaches some minimum number of active posts, so even though the category exists, it desn't show up in the category list because it's not getting enough use yet. Apparently, we can also use hashtags to increase visibility.
That link took me to a page that it said it couldn't find.
