STEEMIT HOLIDAY COUNTDOWN, How to Make Tie-dye T-shirts!

The countdown begins today for the Steemit X-MAS Countdown to Christmas! ! There are 40 days left until Christmas! 47 Days left until New Years 2018! There are 8 days left until Thanksgiving Here in the U.S! It is a big holiday with a lot of preparation for gift giving, holiday baking and decorating!
What a better way to celebrate the holidays here on Steemit, together! Everyday, until Christmas- New Years, I️ will post something holiday related to help you with your holiday season. This could be anything like the best gift ideas to give this year, holiday baking & cooking recipes, holiday music playlists, decorations ideas and more!
For Thanksgiving here in the USA, we have a big, family meal. People usually cook a huge turkey or fish if you’re a vegetarian. The dinner meal has sides like mashed potatoes with gravy, collard greens, sweet potato casserole , green bean casserole and pies like pecan pie & cherry pie. Similar items for Christmas as well. I'll be posting all holiday related things during the countdown.
Today, I️ am posting about a great gift idea! It is a Tie-dye T-shirt making kit! It is a lot of fun for anyone who likes art, paint or t-shirts! The whole family can enjoy it! Plus, the shirts look awesome! If you have time to make it yourself, maybe they would like that even better but this kit alone is a great Christmas present!

I went to A.C. Moore craft store and bought this Tie- Dye kit for 6 T-shirts for only $19.99! It was normally $30.00- or $29.99! Why do they always say 19.99, etc? Seems silly a little but I know it's a marketing tact. I had a few T-shirts already that were white but I bought 3 new at $3.99 or so and $4.99. Also, you could get a cheap t-shirt at a thrift store! These come out way cheaper than spending $25.00 or so on a tie-dye t-shirt. Plus, you made it yourself so it's special! if you have the money, make a shirt and give this and the kit to your loved one so they can make it too! If you have made these before then you could make one yourself without a kit, you could probably buy just the t-shirt paint, rubber bands and gloves.
The kits are nice as they come with detailed directions. So just head to your local craft store and find a kit like this- it is an AWESOME Christmas Present! There are several ways the directions give you for the designs - you use rubber bands to secure it after you scrunch up the shirt so the dye will appear well and make sure your shirt is washed as the paint will absorb it easily.
This one was twisted, all the designs are different - we did one from each design.

This one is coming along! Put each color into triangle shapes after you use the rubber bands according to what design you like. Saturate the color heavily. Make sure you wear gloves! I still have paint on my fingers and we did these on Saturday, lol!
@k-roost is the Bomb with Directions! She helped us all get the rubber bands on the shirts after you picked the design.
I love bright colors! Purple, Pink, Blue, Yellow, Orange! Rainbow colors are awesome!
This was @cushcoast shirt, he used the scrunch method without rubber bands. I hope I didn't mess it up, I grabbed it and said where's the rubber bands, lol! If you just scrunch it then you do not need rubber bands. Maybe he will post his here on Steemit or in the comments the pics.
After you finish your colors, you put the shirt in a plastic bag and leave it for 6 to 8 hours!
Then you rinse it out in the sink with COLD water and then put it in the wash ALONE with a little tiny soap. I used my fastest setting. Then I dried it in the dryer. It came out nice! For the next few washes, wash it alone as it may leak they said.

I really like how you used steem dollars to go buy art supplies to make more stuff to get upvotes! when i get more liquid SBD i will boost this or ill ask @tytran for an upvote he has been SO helpful and supportive and I just know he will be rewarded by larger whales with upvotes and that he will be making so much when steem starts to moon very soon with the big changes and upgrades coming. (like youll one dya be able to even give SUPER upvotes where you can charge your upvotes up for a whole week or two or however long you want and give them out ALL at once
IMAGINE that! imagine when u can just CHARGE up your upvote! @fyrstikken came up with the idea for Golos! IMAGINE how fuin that wuld make steemit! if you could just hita CHARGE button where it takes all your steempower and delegates it or something and just charges it up and when youre ready BOOM you get a few days or a wek or even a MONTH worth of upvotes!!! so you get to save up like for example my 25 cent 100% Upvotes.. I can save up possibly a few dollars everyday, and then in a week or two have like $30 to $100 i actually dont even KNOW but it would add it fast!Then a MINNOW can give out WHALE upvots if they let their upvotes charge up long enough!!!!!!!! people would also upvote themselves thsi way which is fine! It will ACTUALy be prettyy cool and will get people ADDICTED to steem!
