Don't we all feel like Stuart Smalley sometimes? - A Steemer's daily affirmation! [Funny Post]
As a regular contributor in a community of content developers, we often compare ourselves to each other. Even more in the case of Steemit where there is a financial reward to the content we submit. We often ask ourselves why our material is not considered more valuable as the next persons and why that persons post got more upvotes and support then ours. Taking a page from Stuart Smalley's book - Was it not good enough? Am i not smart enough? Why don't people like me - or in this case, my material?
This got me thinking... If I could actually create an entire Stuart Smalley segment on Steemit. Below is what the script and my daily affirmation would be like:
I deserve good things
I am entitled to my share of happiness
I refuse to beat myself up
I am a valuable part of the Steemit Community
I'm going to write a terrific article today; and people will like it, they will upvote it, they will resteem it, because Im good enough, Im smart enough, and doggone it, Steemer's like me.
People on occasion get negative reactions or not enough support for some of the posts that they feel they spent a lot of time creating and sometimes in my case, I feel the same way - "but that's ok." I have to give myself permission to do a bad post or an article that won't catch many people's attention. You can't please everyone.
This is meant to be a humorous post, but there is some truth in it and I think everyone can relate at one point or another. Take a look at the video below and imagine it as it relates to Steemit. It's a funny take on how some people probably feel on occasion.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the post and my meme submissions. As always Thanks for reading and keep on Steeming!!
