I received two refunds -- and a wonderful note from @joanaltres. While flagging her is out of the question because she has not commented lately, sending notes to her wallet is always a great way to speak to the unethical party.
Let's Start Small
My least favorite scammy type thing is folks stealing words and images to post as a way to make money. I truly understand folks want to make money, but their is a right way and a wrong way...
Guess what? Even if a person links to their source -- taking an entire article from another place (even a magazine) is content theft. Report the link and the original work to at Steemit Chat in the steemcleaners-linkdrop. Your help keeps Steemit from being abused.

There are several folks offering their Resteeming services for $2 SBD. Folks, please do your research before sending money. These services do nothing more than take your money.

Wait is it really a scam?
It's not a 100% scam but they don't deliver what they offer. They offer a minimum of 200 upvotes, but most of the time it is not even close what you earn concidered what you pay. I find minnowbooster and randowhale one of the few reliable, but ask yourself if you wan't to "lick your own bum" if I may be a little rude :) (I've not decided permanently either)
Even one percent of a scam is a scam. And it is taking advantage of good will.

Scammy -- yes. The payout value is less than the investment. And it is unethical. All they are doing is making this place look yucky.
Ya I just realized that too. They ask for 2 dollars worth of steem and you get less then that in upvotes. Thank you.
They do earn a lot.
Paying to have something resteemed is stupid, it is wrong of these people to even offer. I ignore their spam attempts and am gonna keep the .001 SBD they keep sending me advertising something I will never ever use.
When you write original content people will resteem it, no need to pay to have it resteemed.
On that note we should all start some kind of group. I've been writing a lot of original content that hasn't been getting any traction.
