Open-sourced Steem Dollar Pegging Bot (Alpha)
I am developing SBD pegging bot running on Bittrex (since Poloniex deposit/withdraw is quite unstable now). The mechanism of this bot is as follows:
- Buy and sell SBD
- Every hour, if you have a certain amount of SBD, this bot sends SBD to your Steem account, and convert it (an hour delay)
- When conversion is completed then you have STEEM in your account, this bot sends STEEM to Bittrex, and sell
- Repeat
Please be aware that this is still alpha, and a simplified version (I removed some algorithms to keep my strategy). So it can be vulnerable by market manipulations. In addition, this code is not fully tested (I am running my own version for a couple days, but no testing is conducted for this version), so may contain many errors. Please let me know any errors and bugs, and your commits (e.g. printing logs, record stats, etc.) are always welcome.

i haven't tried bittrex, is that what i should be using instead of poloniex now?
There were wallet problems with poloniex, but if you want to use, you can modify the code.

How long it will take if i transfer and withdraw money rom bittrex? Cos rn i'm using poloniex and yeah i think theres something wrong there.

This bot requires user's active key, even if it uses internal market instead of Bittrex. It can possible, but much more dangerous than providing a posting key.
