Lets Celebrate Nigeria! We made it!

A while back, Leading Steemit influencers in Nigeria launched #project20millionnigerians, a project aimed at creating awareness about Steemit in the Nigeria and bring 20 Million Nigerians to Steemit. A couple of months later, this project is already bearing fruits.

According to recent statistics, Nigeria is 9th on the rankings of countries that visit Steemit the most.

Yes! coming from a distant 18th to 9th is no mean feat. Especially considering that, the number of Steemit daily visits hit 1.2 Million 8 days ago according to @arcange.

This means that, more Nigerians are coming on Steemit faster than other countries and that's not just it. On another ranking of cities with the most visit to Steemit, Lagos came 3rd.

This is a huge one for our community and we doff our hats to all the influencers and community leaders who are working tirelessly to bring 20 Million Nigerians to Steemit. I also want to say a big thank you to the Steem Community and indeed all Steemians. Steemit will not be worthwhile for Nigeria without you. Thank you.

Even though it's not yet time to relax, I believe we can pause and savour the moment. This one is for us Nigeria. #Respect
