Getting Started With Steemit As A Non-Investor

Make your account

Make your account and store your password somewhere safe! Do not lose it! If you do, you will forfeit any money you've made. Think about the name you want, because you can't change it later. You can change your display name, but your username will always be the same.

Post on Steemit

I'd recommend posting what you've already posted to Instagram or Facebook. Get your friends involved and follow each other. Eventually you'll begin to earn a few cents or maybe even a few dollars here and there.

If you're already a blogger or just have some essays you're proud of, you can post those here too. If your post is long, consider adding 2 or 3 photos to keep your audience engaged.

Invest in yourself

You can do this 1 of 2 ways. Every week, turn what you've earned into “Steem Power”. Steem Power is what allows you to earn more money on curations or “upvotes”. So the more Steem Power you have the more your upvote is worth. The beauty of this? YOU CAN UPVOTE YOUR OWN CONTENT! I wouldn't recommend upvoting your own comments, but you can definitely upvote your own posts, and you should!

Be patient and consistent and eventually you can see yourself making an extra $10-$20 per day or more EVERY DAY. That's an extra $300-$600 per month! All for copying your posts from Instagram and Facebook and putting them on Steemit.

Not bad right?
