plant more trees. don't spend money with corporate or government polluters. war is the most environmentally destructive activity that humans engage in. do not deindustrialize the civilization we depend on, that causes more people to die. CO2 being a problem is a ruse. climate change is happening on other planets in the solar system. we did not do that. it is the sun. please learn what things we are doing to actually pollute our environment and do not be fooled by manipulations. more trees, yes. carbon taxes, no. check this out:

i used to believe as you do, when people would deny that global warming was happening i would get so angry i would shake. how could they deny anything out of al gore's mouth when all of our lives are at stake? so, i set about to gather all of the scientific evidence so i could shove it in their face. then i spent the last 4 years actually learning solar physics. holy crap, was i an idiot. i had believed in a great pack of lies and propaganda. i have personally planted well over 5000 trees. i have ridden my bike for 20 years after getting rid of my last car. i wouldn't take back any of it. except that i wish that i had learned the truth sooner and not gone around judging other people for something that wasn't being done by them. yes, we are poisoning the planet that we and our descendants have to live on, but no, we are not causing climate change. we are allowing ourselves to be distracted from the real problems that we are creating. i can only assume you didn't watch the video at the link i left above so, any more information would be wasted. if you do that video is not comprehensive but it is a good place to start. please educate yourself and don't waste any more years of your life as i have done arguing for a fantasy. there are real problems to solve. i wish you well.

Yes I did look at this video and i don't believe what the speaker is saying. To say that the temperature does not increase is not true. I have noticed the means of the months of July for the last 49 years from the meteo station of Geneva. The slope of the regression give an increase of 3.9 °C in 49 years. To pretend that we know the evolution of the climate on Mars , Venus and Jupiter is really ridiculous. What make you think that I don't think and that I don't educate myself ? you don't know me. Why don't you open a threat about your believes on climate change rather than polluting this one ? The topic of this post is how to decarbonise Steemit, not about the reallity of the climate change.
ok, don't believe me. would you believe 31487 scientists (in the USA alone) who have studied the issue? i hope i didn't come off as aggressive. i only wish to help people not make the same mistakes that i have already made. i understand how difficult it is to face the data that does not line up with personal beliefs. yes, we have studied climate on the other planets in our solar system, a quick search will show this. i have even found a weather report for mars online.
you can watch the polar sea ice extent on NSIDC.org. some measurements show that sea level is actually falling. the IPCC has been shown repeatedly to be manipulating data, at best and to be flat out lying at worst.
this reply is precisely about the undeniable reality that CO2 (the decarbonise part) is not a threat, not a problem, not something to be afraid of, let alone pay to fight.
there are dangers. some of which are, PCBs, dioxin, glyphosate, gmos, heavy metals in the environment. i'm not trying to disturb your world view. i am only pointing out that we are being distracted with non-problems like CO2 and there are so many other things that need our attention, now. i applaud your interest in fighting pollution. first define what is actual pollution, and what is not.

I´m not an activist,( I have participated in some protests) but I want to support the fight to save our environment.
I have an idea to create an accout for different causes that we want to fight for,and let it be operated by different trusted indiviaduals.
WE could turn it into a whale by investments or donations. It could vote for our causes.
Would you/invest/donate and participate in a savetheplanetwhale?
We could use it for fundraising for different organisations.
And I think it should also yield a profit for people who invest, but they can choose to not receive this profit,if they don´t need it.
