STEEMIT GAMING: Creating Game Example
Appearing on Beyond Bitcoin's WhaleTank Hangout this past Friday, has definitely given the Steemit Gaming team an extra boost of energy. It has been a long journey over fours years we have been on gamifiying and making learning non-discriminatory.
We picture a world where anyone at anytime can join a game and learn. It doesn't matter what you look like, your income level, or your environment
Just have access to Steemit (we are working on ways to make sure no one gets left behind in this regard) and you can learn.

Steemit Gaming will start off with three different types of games: curating, commenting, and creating.
For more information about Curating Games, including an example, go here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@chiefmappster/steemit-gaming-example-curating-game
For more information about Commenting Games, including an example, go here: https://steemit.com/beyondbitcoin/@chiefmappster/steemit-gaming-commenting-game-example
The third type of games offered by SG is Creating Games 1.0 (1.0 reflects 100 Level knowledge like in school & University).
One of the best benefits of the platform Steemit is its' unique ability to encourage content creation from its users.
The amount of positive reinforcement received by authors creating content through rewards and quality comments and interactions on Steemit is extraordinary.
Right when you need it most.
BAM! A huge upvote gives you that positive reinforcement us humans needs sometimes to keep progressing forward, especially in difficult times.
Or you just spent a week writing that article and the first comment reads: "Thank you so much. this information changed my life..."
What a fantastic feeling.
On Steemit you can literally change peoples' lives with content creation. What a time to be alive.

This leads to one of Steemit Gaming's type of games, the Creating Game.
When we found out about the power of content creation here on Steemit, SG's team knew this was it. The platform we have been waiting for to get gamers (learners) creating original content that will help them remember and apply the knowledge better, thus increasing knowledge retention and application.
As a result, in Steemit Gaming's first game, Business Game 1.0 will offer Creating Games as one of the types of games played besides commenting and curating.
A question will be proposed by one of SG's Gaming Leaders (teachers) and the gamers playing that game will create the best content they can to responds to that question.
With the Business 1.0 Game, the question could be something like "what's the difference between marketing and sales" or something more basic like: "What is marketing?"
The content created by the gamers then is analyzed by SG's Gaming Leaders (teachers) and up votes the responses on a sliding scale with a token. We are working with @officialfuzzy to get POINTS listed as a Whaleshares/BeyondBit tied UIA (user-issued asset) on Bitshares.
The goal is to used POINTS to upvote the responses and reflect the quality like grades do in traditional learning. An exceptional content created will result in a higher % upvote by a whale tied to POINTS. so the better responses will have larger post payouts than the lower quality tiered responses.
A perfect example for a different future game would be to create content that best explains/answers:
"What is Science?"
The gamer (learner) would do their own research; however best they learn (we understand everyone learns differently).
Then they would create some form of content, whether it be strictly text, strictly video, or a combination of text, images, and/or videos. However best the gamers (students) can learn and explain this concept that is how they should do it. For me as an example to you, this is how I would respond personally to the Science 1.0 Game question: "What is Science?":

The Science 1.0 Game's Gaming Leaders (teachers) would then review and analyze this response to gauge how well the Quick Question was answered. All responses would be analyzed (graded) and upvoted with POINTS accordingly. A leaderboard and ranking system will be in place so that the gamers (learners) can see how their content, comments, and/or curation ranks. An Steemit community leader make sure to contact @internetguy , he has a epic array of community building tools available to any Steemian to help them build communities exclusively here on Steemit.
Also, wanted to show respect and recognition to @jphenderson . Without his support, most community projects here on Steemit would never get off the ground for whatever reason.
@jphenderson helps so many with his work in the Whaleshares community and personally has helped give me guidance and feedback about Steemit when I needed it most. He has also showed so much support of the Beat Battle League by donating his time and his currency to the prize pool. He truly is a Leader of Steemit. Thanks again, i just wanted to make sure you knew how much I respect and appreciate you.
Awesome post, yeah support is important. Followed u.
Appreciate you, I really do :)
this is going to be so epic my friend. i can only think of the number of children who don't 'learn' in the repressive environment that is our public school system that you will be helping.
love.
O wow thank you for your words bethie.
Exactly and it's time to change it. Lord know I want my kids if I have them to be able to learn however they want.
Let's change this world bethie.
