That's true, no matter what every vote counts, and in an Economy we will see all type of influences when it comes to the upvote so we have to cover all users means, Plankton, Minnow, Dolphin, Orca or Whale.
For sure Whale upvote can do special magic because I've received it once and my Reputation was directly jumped to next number and that's really great experience.
And in my opinion nowadays there is an discussion going on to change the Reputation Mechanism and let's hope that if some changes will come in future that will be effective.
And when we have to increase our Reputation, we have to engage with more and more people because in that way we can receive the diversified upvotes from all the corners. 🙂
Before changing the reputation mechanism, they should remove the SBD from the system, in my opinion. ;)
Possibly in near future we can see that. 🙂
You are 100% right in it. Whenever one gets an upvote from a whale, minnow or dolphin and even if its 20% or 30% reputation does increase. It depends on the vote weight though how much it will increase.
