So I'm back in my hotel room after a day of hardcore conferencing, interviews and demo presentations and I am all ready to go FULL STEEM AHEAD on Steemit LIVE!

I'd first like to start off by thanking all of you for reading my last post ("Calling All Steemians: We Need a STEEMIT LIVE!" https://steemit.com/steemit/@cerebralace/calling-all-steemians-we-need-a-steemit-live) and showing this project your undivided attention and support with all of your helpful comments, suggestions, upvotes and resteems! Thank you all immensely as always - we have the most awesome community in the universe and let's do this together!

I've already gone ahead and created a Discord channel specifically to discuss our plans for development of Steemit LIVE.

The Discord channel is called "Steemit LIVE" and all are welcome to join and participate. Feel free to start posting your suggestions and ideas. Don't wait for me to be online - simply go ahead and start interacting and planning with your fellow Steemians. Of course, if you have any specific questions you want to ask me, either leave a message for me in the chat or feel free to send me a direct message. As soon as I am online in the afternoons, it'll be all systems go for Steemit LIVE!

My first question to all of you is: Should we call it Steemit LIVE or SteemTV? Leave your answers in the comments and the name with the most votes wins! Of course, if you have any other names for our live broadcasting service, leave that in the comments as well. I'll announce the winning name on Friday evening (around 10 pm EST) so you all have plenty of time to get your votes in!

The second question that I have for all of you is - do you guys want Steemit LIVE (or SteemTV) to be a separate site that we can link to from the main Steemit page or would you prefer to see it as an app on the Steemit blockchain? Personally, I think building it out initially as a website is a good start, but ultimately it would be ideal for Steemit Live to be a part of the decentralized Steemit network. That way, it would also be completely open and uncensored!

Essentially, my motivation behind Steemit LIVE is to create a service accessible directly from Steemit.com that would allow anyone to create a live video broadcast without having to go through YouTube or Facebook and allow all Steemians to enter any live video stream and participate with comments, audio and live upvoting (thanks to @allasyummyfood for the idea!).

And since we are all part of a decentralized network, ALL OF US will have a say in the creation of Steemit LIVE. If you have a development background (Front-End or blockchain), you are welcome to be a part of our development team. Even if you don't have a programming background but have several suggestions on how we can make this truly historic, please feel free to join our Discord channel and participate by giving your comments, suggestions and feedback.

I will also make sure that the entire development process is completely transparent - our development team will share all progress and updates with everyone on the Discord channel. I will also be updating the entire Steemit community on a regular basis on all our work!
