Steemit if you didn't know was not the first to try building a social network integrated with the blockchain or cryptocurrency. It succeeded and surpassed what the Devs thought it could be by not only  getting off the ground but also by  gaining enormous momentum with the platform and coin (Steem) the adoption in a short period of time, is just incredible. unlike the rest Steemit has made a huge dent in the Blockchain social media, lets hope it keeps making dents!

Blockchains like Steemit’s and bitcoin’s are revolutionizing and disrupting many industries like finance, insurance, government, the Internet of Things and now...social media. The blockchain is King in transparency and incapable of being destroyed.  The blockchain is the only choose @dan and @ned could have chose to build on, remember the hacks and issues Steemit  had at first it? Steemit has been able to quickly bounce back from any hiccups encountered from these issues.  Many others would of collapsed if not for the blockchain.

Zapchain’s reward system is plain tipping. Users can tip posters (blogers) If they like what they read which I have checked it out its mostly not even a blog just one or two sentences. Maybe another reason why it fell. Besides the tipping you can even send micro transactions on the side for them. 

But that's all, no income just tipping working hard for your posts and getting cents? might as well go to some satoshifaucets! 

Steemit selected a unique route by selecting to truly create a specialized cryptocurrency with funding your wallet like properties.
