RE: Phishing site reported - steemautobot(dot)ml
I just got one today on one of my posts. This is driving me up a tree and down the sidewalk. It seems that nothing is protected from scammers; not the normal web, not the blockchain, nowhere.
I feel sorry for the older generations (I am 49 years old). I had a friend who somehow downloaded malware that then put her into a panic because she had those pop-up ads that tell you that you need to get their virus removing software.
Luckily, she took her laptop in to have the malware removed. I just always pause before I click on any link. If I even think it might be a scam.....I won't go there.
She could have removed it herself with Malwarebytes and saved herself some money ... But anyway. That's neither here nor there. I think that in this day and age, the older generation needs to at least learn enough on the computer to get by. They need to know the basics.
