Steemit the Next Big Social Media Revolution
Steemit is a great and fast growing social media platform.
I could remember back in the days of Hi5, if you are not on Hi5 as of then, then you are lost.
Everyone then used to enjoy the platform as the best of its time then. But Hi5 has a limitation. And what is that limitation. Some of its services are not free.
Surprisingly the services that are not free are the most important of them all, such as sending gifts and flowers to loved ones on Hi5 just to let them know you care.
To be able to do these you will neex to purchase Hi5 coins.
Social media users had no choice judging by the fact it was the best then .
What Hi5 owners forget is that humans tend to always look for freedom and free things. Humans dont like paying for anything, they will flock like an overflown river were a service is rendered for free.
Now this persisted for long . I mean unsatisfied users of Hi5, managing what they have for the moment until something happened .
Something that shook the world.
Which is the emergence of Facebook.
Facebook was quick enough to capitalize on the weeknesses of Hi5. Which are, no ways to send video and no totally free services to its users.
Before we knew, just like i mentioned about humans. They all flooded facebook dumping Hi5 and the other social media at that time.
Facebook reined and is still reining . Upgrading its services day by day and yet for free.
Just like the ecconomist would say. "Human wants are Unlimited"
Just as facebook feels they have and are conqering the world. And feel they have offered the best human need, they are also leaving something behind.
Something that wasnt in existence before on social media. Something that is not on facebook operation blueprint.
What is that? That is giving to the users a share of the revenue generated. As in letting users make money also from the platform through their own posts.
I saw some days ago facebook bragging about 1 billion dailly users, perfect but the real question is how does that helps the users need in terms of money.
So you see that is were Steemit comes in.
Steemit is a mix blend of passion and money. Make money out of your passion . You get paid for virtually everything you do on their platform.
Like i said earlier humans need more freedom. This time and era is monetary freedom.
I see a time were the social media users will drift towards Steemit and the new social media revolution will take place.
I will encourage u to join steemit now. Its never too late. Aside the money you make. You also earn a share in the company through a form nown as steempower.
I joined this platform on june 2017 just two weeks ago from the time of writing, through a facebook post of a steemit member by name @jerrybanfeild
And ever since then its been fun all the way.
At some time i began to regret why now. Why havent i knonw it for long.
But its still never late. New people flock it day by day because steemtit has great potentials.
I will stop here for now . Keep calm and await my next post on steemit.

I think that Steemit will revolutionise the social media landscape. Remember when Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, Myspace and others were battling it out to become the next big thing in social media (which was non-existent) ?
The same is going on right now and the race has just started. This time around it’s the companies based on blockchain technology that are looking to become the next big thing in social media and content creating & sharing in general.
When this bubble bursts, just like the dot-com bubble did once, it will create an entirely new generation of millionaires and even billionaires.
Long story short, Steemit is cool, fun and a way to earn some money writing content. When it grows into something bigger, it has the potential to become the ONLY source of income for most people, all just by writing! :)
@chris77d you are right i remember the dot com boom, i also remembered the early early stage of facebook. they all started from some where from an idea that is unique and different from the rest as at that time
Same growth awaits steemit.
@callistus, possibly, I'm cautious, but optimistic. Nothing stays around forever in the digital world, having very limited lifespans. Remember MySpace? It was the go to social media platform, then came Facebook and slayed it.
Certainly invest time and effort in in Steemit, but as @chris77d pointed out, there might be a bubble waiting at the end.
