I still have a lot of questions about SteemIt
These are just some of the questions i haven't found the answer to yet:
- Can you only get paid once per post (your vote is removed after 24 hour and it says that i'm not allowed to vote on a comment after payment)?
- Is SteemIt a Ponzi? Where does the money come from to supply the growth of everyone's STEAM POWER?
- How would the 104 weekly power downs work while your STEEM POWER keeps growing?
- What happens after those 104 transactions?
- How much power do the developers have (hard forks, restoring accounts and such)
- What the hell are witnesses?
- If follows do not go on the blockchain (not visible on steemd.com), where do they get saved (and what do they even do)?
- How does the system choose under what main tag my post will be?
- Why can't i just choose under what main tag i want to post?
- Why am i not the 1st upvote on my own posts sometimes?
- Why after voting, sometimes i end up not being on the bottom of the list, but higher?
- Do you actually make money when replying to posts even when nobody votes on your replies?
- Did i see it correctly on steemd.com that authors can decide if votes and replies are allowed on the content?

Steemit is not a Ponzi scheme as it is run on the STEEM currency therefore that value can be used external of Steemit at anytime. If you don't want to use STEEM as STEEM Power you can just own STEEM in a wallet or another exchange.
Commenting as far as I can tell is rated by voting power. So if you have more voting power your comments will remain near the top. It helps to filter comments by reputable users.
Your argument makes no sense at all. When you buy into a hypothetical Ponzi with USD, you can use those USD's anywhere in the world as well, how does that suddenly make the hypothetical Ponzi scheme not a Ponzi scheme?
It's steemit not steamit. Steamit sounds like a gay bath house, lol
