Since I wrote my article on Minnow booster, so many people are now using it, it really has does not have much voting power left.
But, if you using MB, you are getting 2.2 times the value of your post. If you buy votes when the USA is sleeping it works better.
When a post has a big payout, people come and vote on it so they can share in the reward pool for that post. This causes the value to rise, causing more people to come. You just have to light the fire.

Yes, I also believe voting should really be used to show off quality. It is possible as people mature on the platform they also become more responsible in this regard. I guess we'll see how everything unfolds. We really just getting started.
