It is some great advice.
Find people that have the same interest as you, and learn from them and share with them.
A Big plus is a community developed just for questions and answers, because the FAQ's page doesn't really help a whole lot.

Indeed if you are committed to one topic you can browse the Hashtag, stay there, comment there, and make friends there. I actually never did that consequently, also because I like switching categories. Science, travel, help,.. Talking about help, I think it helps if you stick to one category :-D

Joining a chat on browser or discord is also very helpful to build community :-)
