RE: How Much Steem Power Do I Need To Have A One Cent Vote?
The problem its a moving target.
If the post is over steep incline part of the payout curve, your vote moves the $s far more than if the post is down in the long tail.
The most annoying part is getting a post into the paying area of the graph.
From $0.00 to $0.01. This means you have to give it more vests than 3/4s of the posts produced that day. I haven't worked out where that cutoff actually falls.
And yes, steem is seriously favoured to the whales. Whale and minnow isn't a big fish vs a little fish analogy. It is an accurate size difference between yours and their vote. Whatever whales vote on moves the post value and so they get paid for curation. A minnow has to get up to 1/4Mvests before they start getting curation regularly.
Man, I didn't even think about curation. So the post you upvote and when you upvote it changes what your upvote is worth?
Someone needs to make something that will give u an average of what its worth.
nice explanation
