Placing the NEVER used thing on top, and hiding the ALWAYS used thing down below.
Click on the "steemit" in the upper left. Then click on "my friends", and then you will see your feed as it was... sorta.

It's there now, but I don't think it was there when I posted this. But maybe. I looked in and around everything I could click on.
It was a very dumb move. I understand that they want to promote it, but I felt like it was the tags that drove more impressions, this prioritizing of communities will likely backfire. Let's hope they learn their lesson quickly!
