Sometimes I catch myself taking for granted how awesome it is not to have any banner adds, click adds, surveys or forced adds here on Steemit. I mean you can hardly surf the internet anywhere anymore without wading through piles of junk that has been tailored towards you. They jump out like Shadow timeshare salesman on the streets of downtown Puerta Vallarta Mexico and lure you with free "Adventures".
The way things work here in Steemit is complete brilliance once you really understand blockchain and the properties of POW vs. POS mining. I have said from 10.00 bitcoin that it would be such a disruptive currency to banks, hedge funds, the fed reserve and the paper mache gold and silver market. It's just getting started, and we have not seen nothing yet!
I feel the same way about Steemit. Steem is not a POW currency, but it has one heck of a incredible utility and the platform it uses with the combined use of POS mining is so unique, Steemit.com has nowhere to go but straight up. When the asleep at the wheel masses in the world figure this out and flock to this ingenious site, your Steem collected here will be of great value.
This is a slow grind newbies......just take it one day at a time.

Steemit has some huge potential in the coming future.
It will definitely overtake Reddit but will it blow away larger social media tycoons, I'm not too sure but we may see some larger platforms implementing they see on steemit in fear.

Well said sir! It's not exactly easy to just implement a similar style blockchain for Facebook or twitter etc. Steemit has a massive jump on the competition and it blows the new Yours Network out of the water by a million miles. Steemit will be disruptive, believe that for sure.
You have a good point. Right now this site works like Reddit and if they can add the system in place like facebook picture, video, live feed and all the tools people are accustom to then yes this will explode. Boom x Infiniti
