Not based in the US but I agree taxes on crypto trading need to be low
Government has no business regulating cryptocurrencies.
We know...but going to happen
What I think is more likely is they will pass regulations and some coins will cooperate and others won't, creating a kind of two tiered crypto-economy. The more free system will probably become more niche like Bitcoin was originally as the other part grows and becomes more controlled.

Government has no business in cryptocurrency. People are revolting against the government corruption across the world so hence: CRYPTOCURRENCY. They steal the public's money on a daily basis in the form of hundreds of taxes. The more taxes you take the less we enjoy a standard of living. Thats a FACT.
hopefully, crypto is not double taxed in the usa.
