I think the real value in Steem is the social network in which people can post about other things, but in the backround we're all into crypto. Most of the posts I've seen on here have nothing to do with crypto and I doubt the authors would run dedicated crypto blogs...The value is in the use case and popularity.
I agree. Value will grow exponentially with the number of active users. There are several formulas to estimate value, but they are all exponential. Since there is very little infrastructure costs, the price will closely mimic value. In other words expect about 4x price when the number of active users double.
