Q: What is Steemit and how does it work? 

A: Steemit is a new social network that looks and functions similar with Reddit, except content creators will get paid when their contents gets upvoted (like) by other Steemit users. 

Not only, the content creators will get paid, but those who upvote and comments also get paid.

All Steemit users will get paid under currencies call STEEM and Steem Dollars.
Users can then transfer these currency to Bitcoin and from Bitcoin transfer to real dollars in your bank account.

Q:  What is the difference between STEEM and Steem dollars. 

A:  STEEM:

 are the units that are bought and sold for actual money on the open markets. You can trade them for bitcoins and withdraw as real money.

You can also trade STEEM for STEEM Power (a measurement of how much influence a user has in the Steem network. The more STEEM Power a user holds, the more they can influence the value of your posts and comments)

Steem Dollars:
is a currency that designed  to be pegged to the United States dollar. 1 Steem dollar = 1 US dollar.
you can trade Steem Dollars to STEEM and cash out or held to receive an interest rate (2% annually as of march 2017). Think of this as a bank saving account. 

Q:  Is it possible to change my Steemit username?

A:  No! It is impossible. you can only change your display name in your account settings. 

Q:  What can users allow to share on Steemit? 

A: Users can post any legal content such as  quotes, blogs, anecdotes, photos, videos, memes, songs, adult stuffs ... you name it. 

Q: Can i add video into my post?

A: Yes!, Just paste your Youtube video link in your post and it will appear just as below

Q: Why is the "Post" button grayed out?

A: Your post need to have a title, a post body, and at least one tag. missing any of these will result above issue.
