Morals and Living In Abundance~Philosophy With Brado

Philosophy and the practice of thinking has the power to do just about anything and everything. In studying and reflecting on wisdom- both our own and that of which has been passed onto us through the ages, we are able to better guide ourselves to an existence in which we have freedom and are comfortable and happy.

One way this is relevant is the ability to start calibrating our own morals and critically thinking about our everyday actions and how they will affect others. We can shape our own moral character and teach our youth to do the same. I personally do not believe that there is always an absolute moral truth or a truly right course of action we all cant win all the time someone will always be able to see and support a different perception. This does not go to say that we can do whatever we want simply because every alternative perspective can be argued. There are certain boundaries and unspoken rules that can be understood both through critical thinking and philosophy as well as conscious intuition.

A very good guideline to abide by that seems pretty straight forward but that is often overlooked is respecting both peoples physical space, but also mental space. Instead of spouting off an opinion or getting into another persons business life goes much smoother if you act with a certain amount of poise and class, hear people out and respect their right to be them. Even if this means they get to have an opinion or view that you do not share. You learn much more from someone who has a different opinion then you do.

Philosophy comes with the art of listening, hearing and comprehending. This is one of the many great ways that it can serve to develop you as a person and change your world into a more tolerable environment. When you listen to someone speak, even if they are saying things that you just completely disagree with, you are actively adjusting your own moral compass. Instead of tossing out negativity and not even letting another living person have an opinion or perspective.

Take the time to see why they feel the way they do, then politely offer a counter perspective that does not belittle their opinion. If it is not easy to to communicate with this person in a mature and appropriate manner, then go about your life after you indulge them for long enough that your not disrespecting there existence. This is just a loose example of how being moral and reflecting in your everyday life will help you navigate your world and avoid negative emotional spikes that are never pleasant.

I have always strongly believed that every interaction and jaunt a person experiences in the world is intended to be a learning opportunity. This ideal makes life much more fun, you start to recognize synchronicities and pick up on little lessons and pieces of knowledge the external world is trying to teach. Often times when I leave my house, contemplating a problem or dilemma in my head and go out to do the stuff i need to in my regular day ill hear people talking or witness something that will help me find a solution or just understand a different perspective of it.

I believe this is because I have slightly tuned myself into bringing philosophy and critical thinking into my everyday life. Processes like this absolutely help me develop my moral character and further my cohabitation with the other people and life on this planet.
