My Steemit Wallet???

Hello viewers, I recently set up a steemit account and apparently you get $10.00 on sign up however I did not get any money in my wallet, I'm not sure if i have done anything wrong in the procedure of signing up but I've not gained any money nor have I earned any money by producing blogs.

It will be of great help if someone could give me tips - thank you :)

Is there a way to do it? Do I need to install something or sign up for anything because I am not sure.
