This was a very nice post. As a newer user of Steemit it became obvious to me that increasing my SP was imperative. Only now am I starting to realize there are more than just one reason why. You laid out everything very well. One thing I might add is building up your SP should also help you avoid the bandwidth issues many new users experience during "peak" hours. -@bozz
