About Test

The Canada Citizenship Test is usually a written test but in some cases it might be an interview. The citizenship test is a multiple choice question based on two basic requirements is 1. The basic knowledge of Canada and the rights & responsibilities of citizenship. 2. Adequate knowledge of English and French.

All the questions are coming from the following subject areas.

• Canadian history
• Economy and modern Canada
• Symbols, Institution and values
• Political and military history
• Citizen rights and responsibility
• The concept of democracy, political system, society monarchy and branches of government

Eligibility

• To eligible for this test you must need to meet below requirements:
• Age between 18 and 54 years when you apply
• Knowledge of Canada and Canadian history
• Living in Canada for 1095 days in the past four years
• Status of permanent resident
• Speak one of the two official language English and French

How To Register

You can register online through Citizenship and Immigration Canada official website. You can find application package with the instruction guide, list of documents requirements, forms you need to fill out and documentation checklist.

For adults the right of citizenship fee is $100 + Processing fee is $530, For adopted adults, the right of citizenship fee is $100 + Processing fee is $530, Adopted minors processing fee is $100.

Once you complete payment you need to submit an application by sending form and documents via email or courier.

If the application is accepted you will get a notice with the time and date of your test.

Important Note: Make sure on the day of a test must carry the original documents you submitted with your application. Also, take travel documents you have used for the past five years.
