The 4th Steemit Chess Tournament was announced yestarday however if you missed the post I will lay out the most important info here:

Date and Time:

Friday - 11/08/2017 at 19:00 GMT.

  • Note - All times are in GMT( Greenwich Mean Time )

If you want to convert your time in GMT head over here.

Prize Pool:

  • 3.5 SBD + 50% of the collected SBD(from my Posts) for the Winner.

  • 2 SBD + 30% of the collected SBD(from my Posts) for 2nd place holder.

  • 1.300 SBD + 20% of the collected SBD(from my Posts) for 3rd place holder.

1 hour before the tournament starts I will make a post with the URL and Password for the Tournament, if you miss the post you can find the info in our Discord and the steemit.chat channels below.

You just need to copy and paste the URL and enter the Password and you are ready to start.

* Note you need lichess.org account to be able to participate!

How to enter the tournament?

  • Upvote
    (100% of the SBD collected will go to the prize pool)

  • Resteem
    ( We need to share this post so more people join and the prize pool will grow!)

  • Comment if you are willing to participate!
    ( It will be helpful if you drop what date/times it's best for you to play so I can adjust accordingly to this info the best date/time for the Tournaments)

Any of the funds gathered by this post will be used to fund future tournaments & contests!

    Hey guys, can you seriously make some more normal time for play so the rest of the world can join ? I mean waiting in Asia until 3-4 am in the morning, it's not kinda fair. And there is few of us who love to play.

    Can you reschedule for more normal time ?

    Sure. Next one is gonna be during the week days aimed for the Asian time zone, I think around 12:00 GMT is fine for you guys right? Please let me know if 12:00 GMT is fine or not.

    On any GMT time add 5-7 hours and you get almost entire Asia :D So, yeah it's super fine :D
