It does seem that a lot of the votes seem to come from bots or systems rather than just good content, or am I missing the point and I just haven't come up with stories that really resonate with readers yet?
sir for that you have to attract people with your posts which are interesting mostly focus on the headlines that would help you out

Take advantage of the bots. The can help you grow your reputation score and get you in front of other steemians that would otherwise never see your post.
At some point though it is best to stop using them. Myself? Yes I still user them. At least until I hit a rep score of 50. The whales put them together to help them help us minnows so they are not bad to have swimming in your comments feed.
