What does everyone else hear about US politics right now?

I am curious what you all are seeing in way of US politics right now in your preferred news outlet or provider. Is America collapsing in terms of what your news provider is saying or?

This is something that has given me lots of interest. I know that in the past I have read news articles about things happening in India or Japan and my friends there told me that the american news wasnt properly displaying the facts.
