RE: NO MORE CRYPTO NEWS AND MUSIC HERE. #Dictatorship

yeah that's too bad because I use your feed as I would use Reddit, which is what Steemit is supposed to be. Perhaps you can adapt to do similar commentary and use use a crap load of links like coin telegraph and coindesk use to make their articles.

Sort:

the difference was supposed to be original content if its the same doesnt really have value price of steem will fall and users wont stay

Why? Reddit seems to be keeping it's users and has plenty of linked articles.

Steemit provides a way for the content to be posted and users can decide on how much curation the poster should have. Many of the sites he posts expressly provide feed data so that other sites drive traffic to the OP site to read the whole article, as long as it is cool with them why should we police a legitimate rss repost?

Users can decide not to tip him for his service instead of whales making the decisions for the whole community, it's not like he makes more then a few cents anyway. If he had a regular webpage he could have ad imprints and use the exact same feeds to make pretty much the same money he makes here. I just think that if Steemit is supposed to be like Reddit then it should congregate the links into one post like Reddit does so there isn't spam.

do factors like user account creation or economic principles effect steemit,
the more spam reposted articles reduces value, floods feeds with spam
reduces entertainment value thus steem value,
these factors will make it impossible to keep new users

I think telling users to wait a day or more for a new account is much more damaging then him posting an article to the people who follow his feed. However as I stated before Reddit has a feature to reduce clutter by correctly identifying outside content and only allowing one copy of that content to appear on Reddit, the first person to find/curate that content gets the karma for that link. We should strive for a similar strategy rather then ban users for using Steemit like Reddit.

him posting isnt damaging,
Reddit isnt an original content site its a news-board of whats best links ranked by users,
if you make this the same as reddit will be full of people reposting top users on twitter, reddit, facebook making thousands and thousands of copys and each copy reduces total value of platform
here the content should be original since its owned by the site
it adds no value reposting without adding a significant amount would also alleviate fears of copyright infringement

Stop harassing users isa, your totally wrong and should read the whitepaper.
