I stumbled upon some Altcoin pumping videos and I was shocked! Now I see why people are blindly buying Steem. There are a lot of newbies out there pumping up all sorts of Alts. The videos are very revealing. Steemit is a great platform and it gives us all an opportunity to try something very unique and new FOR FREE! If you post here you are contributing to the crypto-ecosystem in a manner that is basically risk free. Steem has proven over the last year to be a highly speculative crypto! To buy it is highly risky especially when people like me get it for free! I have been firm on my stance on Steem the entire time I have been here. Do not buy it, EARN IT! Investments should be done like a pyramid: Bitcoin at the top, and small amounts of a lot of altcoins currencies. Steemit has been going up rapidly for the first few days so there might be a Buble, either way I beleive Steen will become a large currency some time in the future.

Great informative post. I did purchase some STEEM before I joined Steemit. And I agree why buy STEEM when you can earn it while participating in this great community.
Well some person here does not agree with you in a most major but SILENT way- I got a HUGE downvote on this post which took away $6 from me! We need contrarian opinions here!
