I believe the theory was to help out the little guy or make it see that way, but the way voting is set up is that if you have a post worth 100 dollars and a post worth 1 dollar and they get the same exact vote. The higher post gets a bigger bump. So we have a case of the upper guys getting a advantage with the voting system, and this just takes advantage of that.
