Steemit or Spammit

I haven't been on steemit for long, but I am already getting tired of the things that I have been witnessing on a daily basis. Things are going to have to change around here or we are doomed. If we keep going in this direction, then we are destined for failure.

Steemit was an experiment of sorts. I chose to use the use the word "was", rather than " is" because this will remain on the blockchain long after steemit has died. If you are reading this in the future then you have an understanding of what happened with this experiment. These are the remains of what was once steemit.

I have chosen to come back and leave this stamp on the blockchain. This stamp will always remain here for others to see. This stamp is nearly eternal. It will live on long after time travel becomes a reality. I have not seen an end to the blockchain and neither will you.

Steemit; however, will come to an end. It will be known as Spammit. Spammers will gain all of the popularity before the ultimate failure of steemit. This is because of abuse. This is because of greed. It is simply human nature.

Steemit will come to a point where voting will become useless, and therfore, nonexistent. Votes will be sold and the proceeds from those votes will go directly to buy votes, thus rendering the voting system useless.

Content, and content creation will no longer matter. This circle of the voting process will become highly automated therefore time and effort will not be needed to progress forward. There will be little, to no need to make your own transactions, or transfers. In the end, this circle will be mainly used for spam.

We are making attempts to change human behavior, thus changing the path of humanity and the path of this experiment. Our attempts, so far have been unsuccessfull. Us few will still make these attempts, but without help, steemit is doomed.
