Yeah that's true, especially the part about removing one's own personality. There is a reason why most actors are not terribly outspoken about their political beliefs, especially the conservative ones. If you are conservative in Hollywood, you basically get blacklisted unless you have enough money and power to produce and sponsor your own content. That's why I said, it is more than just free speech when you are considering your career and livelihood.
