Sunburnt, Slower, Maybe Fatter?
Hello Steemian's,
Well vacation is over. Just sitting on the plane just after being probed by the TSA. It's amazing how slow people are in Florida state. Being from Toranna, I can see how we are so rush rush rush!
Although it's a little annoying, I think being trained to wait in 30min-2 hour lines for rides makes you more patient. I know the hustle and bustle will eventually catch up to me. I will become impatient again, and annoyed when i'm not served. It's not a good trait, but it's a double edged sword.
Being too lazy makes you passive. Perhaps calmer, but people will roll over you if you don't get a little thicker skin. Your productivity also goes down.
On the other hand being too rushed and hard makes you aggressive. People don't respond well to aggressive behavior. There's nothing like screaming at someone and their calm blank look of inaction makes you angrier.
So like anything in life, we require balance. I love the fact that steemit requires me to blog. If I have nothing to contemplate; I have nothing to steem.
I hope some patience rubs off on me. Unfortunately I'm a realist and I'll probably turn back into that impatient city hustle and bustle dweller. We have to adapt after all.
